C4 Bolt Carrier, Hard Chromed, with Sand Rail Cuts - Carrier ONLY!
Proudly American-made in-house, our new carrier will set the new standard for AR rifle bolt carrier groups. Experienced operators know the single most critical AR spare part is a spare bolt carrier group, and ours have been subtly redesigned to enhance overall reliability. All critical dimensions and specifications meet or exceed the Technical Data Package requirements.
Fully hard-chrome finished, the V1 8620 steel, full-auto weight carrier includes a properly machined Mil-Spec chromed gas key that is chrome lined and heat treated per the TDP and is secured to the carrier via OCKS and properly staked during final inspection.
Sand rail cuts are added for increased reliability in harsh conditions.
These precisely machined, finished, and hardened parts will ensure long-term proper gas system functioning and reliability and have been engineered based on feedback from real-world end users.
My review starts bad, gets better. I ordered a 'New' carrier but received a 'Blem'. Product description says that this current batch has darker, better chrome and a black phosphated gas key - and that if you order a blem, the gas key could be either/or (chromed or phosphated).
Mine arrived today with a chromed gas key and has cosmetic blemishes - and coincidentally, the "New" carriers are now out of stock. Just guessing but seems like they accidentally sold more of the 'New' carriers than they had the stock for, and just sent me this instead.
The blemishes are nothing too major, some weird white blotches in the chrome here and there, some discoloration on one side and some very slight forward assist serrations over cuts into the rail. I don't really care too much about the blemishes - I just really wanted one with the black phosphate gas key, wouldn't have ordered at this time otherwise. It took me a long while to save up the money for this and didn't get what I wanted, so i am a bit disappointed, but, still gets 5 stars. Why? Looking at the big picture, I do have an ultra high quality Centurion Arms carrier and a V2 bolt that completes my full Centurion build, finally! And I know it'll outlast me by several lifetimes and wont likely fail. Also the customer service has been amazing with these folks. Always prompt replies to my emails with probable dumb tech questions yet they're always polite and answer my questions. And I can tell they work very hard, so, yes! Still gets 5 stars. I only wish there was a way to communicate with other customers to see if anyone has one w/ phosphate gas key & wants to trade me. But overall I'm happy. Ok, novel complete.
One of the best BCGs I've ever used. I have two of them that are on dedicated suppressed SBRs. One is in a 300blk that was horribly under gassed and would not run subs suppressed no matter the spring and buffer combo or BCG. For fun I put the Centurion BCG from another rifle in it and it was gas efficient enough to get it to run. I still had to address the gas issue but I found that interesting.
Awesome product. Has an equal, if not even better finish than the KAC ones. My new go to carrier! Hard chrome is the best!
High quality and amazing crome finish ! Outfitting all my hard use Ar's with this BCG
10/10 the best carrier I've ever owned. I've owned BCM, SOLGW, and KAK. And without a doubt this is THE BEST. After just 1 mag suppressed with a high back pressure can the other carriers would get extremely "sticky" because of the carbon. Not with this carrier! 1 mag or 5 mags, it doesn't matter. Still just as smooth as when I first put it in my rifle. This carrier will be the new standard in all my rifles!
Purchased a blem. Expected the usual rough machining on i.d. @ rear of carrier. Didn’t expect the FA serration cuts near gas vents not machined clean. Also found curled piece of machining still attached @ rear of gas key. Chroming is nice, OCKS screws staked well. My hope is that the 3 bore runs are in the efficient range.
The carrier looks good ran it in my 11.5 Ar and it ran smooth and easy to clean.
This product looks phenomenal! Can’t wait to put it to use.
