Meet Your Instructor: Eric McElhaney
Eric is the Firearms Training Officer for the Johnson County Sheriff's Office and a retired law enforcement officer with 28 years of service. He served more than 20 years on his agency's SWAT team, including four years as Commander, and previously worked as a full-time instructor at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
Eric hold firearms instructor certifications from the NRA, Rangemaster, and the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board. He has delivered over 1000 hours of instruction in pistol, shotgun, and AR-15 platforms. He has trained with leading national instructors and organizations, is certified by Force Science in use-of-force analysis, and is an Indiana-certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
